It basically is part of the net-wide problem that started with Bulliten
Board systems, that of pointless abbreviation. The Internet is full of
such nonsense, which leaves most people in the dark and makes the whole
thing more difficult and cryptic than it has to be. Champions Rules is
pretty simple to type out. My personal pet peeve is typing out ur instead
of your, ooh you saved 2 letters, and that could mean big money!

That is similar to how I built Noman of the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents (the
original idea for this character, although he had invisibility, not the
ability to be blown apart in every comic like Spartan).

IIRC, Noman had 3 android bodies available (I guess if he lost one it
could be replaced given time.) and one cloak of invisibility.

I once used OIHID for an "unloseable focus" (the character had Flash
Defense built into her mask) without Instant Change, it worked fine.
Though, most of the time I've used it, I also gave the character Instant
Change as well -- it's certainly simpler than looking for a public
restroom to change clothes :) .

I don't see anything that differentiates dragon form from Human form (I was
looking for something like shapeshift).

Subject: [OT] SETI

Hey guys,

I know this is off topic, but it's still kinda cool. It's called the
Seti@home project. Basically you go to http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/
and download a program. After you install it, it will connect to their
server over the internet and download a set of data. Then the program
analyizes it and then sends it back. You don't have to be on all the time,
just when you send and receive the data. And you can also set the program
up to run as a screen saver.

The thing that really confuses me about that E.C. statement is that they also
say something to the extent of:

"Powers must be in the same slot to be linked" But then right before that
statement they say "A Power (also referred to as a Slot) in an Elemental
Control....."

So they are saying that you have to have all your linked powers in the same
slot, but then right before that they say that a Power IS a Slot.

Pretty damn confusing in my book.

This had been my interpretation as well.

Here is where the confusion comes in. Personally, I had assumed that
you could switch forms without instant change, it just takes time (is not
instant). If you wanted to instantly switch forms buy Instant Change.
I recall that a couple of other posters had the same interpretation.

However, I believe Steve Long posted that Instant Change was only for
clothing and had always only been intended for clothing, having no
relationship to OIHID or not. As far as the amount of time to switch
to your heroic form, I believe he interpreted this as a 0 phase action
since it was activating a power.
