Well, that sounds more like insufficient explanation of why it happened than
an unreasonable call. Easiest reason would have been a gust of wind.

I'd lay long odds that it is 5th Ed. Additionally, one of the supers from
C:NM that is translated on the Hero website (I don't recall which one) has
an extra cost to his Regeneration to purchase "Can regenerate limbs". At a
guess, this is another one being added.

He's in Enemies: Villainy Unbound, a 3rd Ed book which (I *think* still
has a few copies available from the Hero Guys. Invictus is an all-American
flag-suited "hero" who, being truly a master of manipulation, secretly
controls a small but influential conspiracy for world domination.

If you are building the ship as a vehicle (I hope), then by two attacks. On the
first
apply an additional 10 points to give you four or those attacks. There you have

your four laser cannons. On the second attack, apply a limitation that the
attack
most have all 4 of the other attacks combined. This assumes that the second
attack
is more then 2 damage classes above the first. If the second attack is only 2
DCs
above the first the use to old massed attack rule and just buy the four laser
cannons.

There shouldn't be anything offensive about it. "American" is the correct
term for a denizen of the United States of America, just as "Chinese" is a
perfectly valid term for a citizen from the People's Republic of China, etc.
If anything, the wierdness is that we use the term "U.S." as our "nation

Here's an idea no one has mentioned yet.

Assuming you have a computer in your ship, and this seems likely, have a
targeting program for each weapon firing in that phase.

The person assigns targets to the powered weapons and the computer controls
firing.

While I agree Rush is a very good band, and a close second, the *real* best
band/musician from Canada is Sarah McLachlan. Absolute best live show.
Period. Triumph comes in third. Of course, this in IMHO.

I just recieved my copy of San Angelo from the local comic book
store. And I got to scan it abit. And I just have to say this: I like
it. It looks very complete and concise.

The artwork (apart from the cover) is standard Champions fare. Same
artists from the line that have been at it for the last 5 years or more.
Some I care for, some I honestly do not.

The layout: This I liked alot. It is a vast improvement over what I
had been used to from previous Hero Games related books. And even from
the other GRG supplements I had seen.

Tthe book goes does a fairly indepth threatment of the background
and the major players in the city. As well as giving a good treatment of
the city itself. I really like this book.

Now as to the comparisons to Bay City. Bay City did some things that
San Angelo didn't. It game maps and descriptions to some of the major
landmarks. Which is great, because that sort of thing is very useful for
play purposes. I hope to see some more elaboration on major landmarks in
the future. Maybe even a book of just maps. A sort of San Angelo Atlas.

For the start of a new product line, this one is a very ambitious
start. I will be following it to see what happens down the road.

Note to Mark Arsenalt: GRG did good with this. I hope that you and
the rest of this company can keep things up to the standard this book
has set for your company. Actually, I hope your product quality goes
even beyond this. Keep up the good work.

Actually, if you look at the description of 'High Range Radio
Hearing' it specifically states that the power allows for reception *and*
transmission on [among others] television bands. Most characters don't lug
the appropriate display gear around to take advantage of that, but your
android shouldn't have any problems with interpreting the data. No need to
create a new complex power at all.

It really depends on who is using the android. If the android is just
sending the signals back to a recording device then I would say it is Eidetic
Memory. If the android is just a lacky for someone else then I would say that
the other person has to buy Clairsentience with the special effect that it is
an android.

My homebrew rule is someone with Mind Link or HRRH can add a sense link at
the cost of "+5 pts/sense of +10 pts/sense group".

I.E. Joe Telepath has Mind Link costing whatever(the book's at home). He
can "talk" on the mental chat line, or for +5 pts send what he's seeing.

I'd just call it a modified form of High Range Radio Hearing (which is
actually High Range Radio Transceiving). The Modifiers I'd use would be
Transmit Only (-1), Only to Transmit What the Character Sees and Hears
(-1/4). (This last is only a Limitation in that the character must speak
out loud to communicate or transmit other data.)
Of course, that assumes that anyone could have a receiver suitable for
picking up the transmission. If the system is proprietary, use Mind Link.

Ya think? It's been kinda dead lately, and since when have we
stayed on task?

And you're willing to claim Trebec?

Anyway. I need to make it up to Calagary to visit a friend who
escaped Illinois for that fair city. ("And I leave my entire fortune of 10
million dollars to the people of Calagary so they can afford to move

Illinois for...Oklahoma. I think I got the lesser deal.

Nope.

BTW, Is it snowing in the ghettos of Toronto? (Old inside joke with

there any good books with pre-generated ninjas (or other sorts of generic

I've neverheard of them, but then again most of my musical interest
centers on contemporary Christian (mostly Carman and dc Talk) and classical.
And yes, Alex *Trebek* is Canadian, as are Rich Little, William Shatner,
Lenonard Nimoy, Harold Ramis, Dave Thomas (the comic actor, not the Wendy's
guy), Rick Moranis, Laurie Hibberd, and probably a truckload of other
celebs of various levels of fame and popularity that just I'm not thinking
of right now.
And I agree that this is a bit off topic; the only reason I jumped in at
all was because you misspelled Alex Trebek's name.

There *IS* a CW list...generally inactive, but it exists nonetheless.
Unfortunately, I don't have the address handy... I'll post it this

The only place that I know of is the Hero Games website. They have a
patch updating CW to 1.4. They also have a patch updating Fuzion
Template to 1.4 and the Hero Template to 1.4b. However, if you recently
bought the Hero Template I think it is already 1.4b.

I've seen:

HiRes Radio Hearing, with Var.SFX
and
Mind-Link vs. Electronics w/Var.SFX

to simulate sending/receiving from various formats.

Eidetic Memory comes in later, when/if you are recording the
data/video/audio.

Are you sending a TV signal that overrides current reception
or is the TV signal being sent to a dedicated monitor system?
Images might be necessary, if you're capable of controlling
what someone else's CRT emits.

Huh? Armor Piercing on a 1d6 Flash? Increased Stun Multiple and Penetrating
on any flash? And NND on top of those? That can't be right...

Watchers of the Dragon has some goons and thugs. Ninja Hero has some good
low-end Ninja

Yes. Rush is composed of three of the best rock musicians ever to get

There certainly was one: let me check my back mail.

I do not know what the subscription address is, but I do have the mailing
address for it. However, it has been some time since I got mail from it as
well, so it may be gone now.

The address for the list is:

Well, if it's there, it's very well hidden. I looked around for half an

If you mean the update files, they should be available from the Hero
Games website (http://www.herogames.com).
(Others will probably answer ahead of me and with better information,
but I thought I'd throw in my reply just to be sure.) :-]

Good point.

Moreover, a character can tread on others' shtick's in two ways - by being
too much alike, and by being too different. As you observe, a character who
shares too much of the abilities and/or style of another character can take
away from the other's distinctiveness. But a character whose style is
drastically inconsistent with others in the group (say, a slapstick
character in a group of gritty vigilantes) can be just as damaging.

This can be a real GM judgment call. Shared abilities and style can also
give a unifying style to a group, and oddball characters can make a great
foil for the others. The trick is drawing the line at what's too much
alike, and what's too different.

That's very interesting, considering that I saw more than one

and even took part in one of them.
