First appearance: Quasar #32 Origin: Quasar #32 Description: Korath is a cybernetically enhanced blue Kree male standing 6' tall and weighing 290 lbs. He is covered in reddish brown armor, except for his eyes and lower face. Explanation of the conversion: Korath is an experimental Kree cyborg designed to pursue criminals. He uses his Mind Scan to determine the direction of his quary, flying to them and taking them down with his Beta-Batons. History: Korath-Thak was one of the most renoun cyber-geneticist of the Kree. He developed the Pursuer process that could turn Kree into cybernetic warriors, but his budget was cut and project ended. Korath was sent to oversee an automated factory. He refused to give up on the project and reprogrammed the factory to convert him into a Pursuer to prove how the process would be successful. It worked and he became Korath The Pursuer (Quasar #32). Korath The Pursuer then joined the Kree Starforce alongside Captain Atlas, Doctor Minerva, Shatterax, Supremor and Ultimus and fought the Avengers (Captain America #399). He survived the detonation of the nega-bomb, but the planet the fell under Shi'ar rule. Deathbird was assigned to rule the planet for the Shi'ar and she reformed the Kree Starforce into the Shi'ar Starforce, and Korath became a member. When Quasar III, Her and Makkari came to help the people of Kree-Lar, the Starforce turned them away (Quasar #35). Powers: Korath The Pursuer is a blue skinned Kree, a race of humanoid aliens from the planet Kree-Lar. They are similar to humans, but stronger thanks to the planet's higher gravity. Thanks to the cybernetics that are part of his body he is stronger, faster, can fly and has powerful scanning abilities. He can psionically locate any person he concentrates on.
