He'd prefer to live a quiet bucolic life with wife Tara and son Dorno. Unfortunately, Amzot is apparently one of the more desirable pieces of real estate in the galaxy and is continuously invaded both by creatures from the cosmos and by beings from other regions of Quasar itself. Like Tarzan, Zandor calls upon his animal friends to help him repel the invaders, five bizarre monsters known as The Herculoids. In combat Zandor snipes at enemies from cover while calling out instructions to the Herculoids. This isn't as cowardly as it sounds since he's frequently up against either a platoon of space pirates or a giant space monster. Occasionally he will direct a battle while riding Zok, the space dragon, overhead. Powers and Abilities: Zandor is a crack shot with a sling and uses pieces of an unstable mineral unique to Quasar as shot. With a bag of these exploding rocks at his belt he's effectively a human grenade launcher. It doesn't have a Charges limitation since he never seems to run out of ammunition. If Zandor ever were forced to use normal rocks, the sling would do the usual 1D6 RKA damage instead. A round buckler strapped to his left arm is capable of deflecting energy weapons fire as well as bullets and blades. Zandor can also hurl the buckler like a discus, deliver a devastating punch with it, or catch the air with its concave surface to slow his descent when falling or leaping. He does a lot of the latter, using a common species of elastic vine to hurl himself into the air. Despite his primitive lifestyle, Zandor is able to comprehend and operate his opponents' sophisticated technology; he's flown "borrowed" spaceships on more than one occasion. Disadvantages: Obviously Zandor's major motivation is to protect his beloved family and his homeworld from the seemingly endless invaders that keep raiding Amzot. Perhaps not surprisingly, he's also grown attached to the Herculoids and will risk injury to himself to aid one of the creatures should it be injured during a battle. Height: cm (5' 10"), Weight: kg (167 lbs), Sex: Male, Race: Amzotian Appearance: Zandor is a muscular Caucasian human with red, chin-length hair which is kept out out of his eyes by a steel diadem.
