Red, white and blue outfit, with a star on the chest. Red cuffed boots. Face mask w/ blue cover on the head, and an "A" Background: Cap was born during the Depression to hard working parents. The young Steve Rogers grew up with very strong ideals--to put it mildly--and when World War II broke out he was eager to serve his country. Unfortunately, Steve was what you might call sickly and the Army listed him as 4F (Army lingo for unfit to serve). Still eager to help, Steve volunteered to be the guinea pig to try out the government's new Super-Soldier Serum. It was invented by Dr. Erskine (who went by the code-name Dr. Reinstein). The serum worked, turning Steve into the perfect physical specimen-Captain America! Sadly a Nazi saboteur broke in during Steve's transformation and murdered Dr. Erskine. Steve avenged the doctor and served the country as Captain America.
