Current group affiliation: None Past group affiliations: V Battalion, ally to Captain America and the Thunderbolts. Major enemies: V Battalion, Crimson Cowl III. First appearance: Thunderbolts #1 Origin: Thunderbolts #42 Description: Dallas is an attractive woman with red hair. She wears glasses. History: Dallas is the daughter of Jimmy Riordan, a New York police officer who also happened to be the son of the original Citizen V. Although Dallas was brought up to be a police officer, she decided to become an assistant for the mayor of New York. While working for the mayor she was assigned to be laison for the Thunderbolts, and started dating Atlas. After the Thunderbolts were revealed to be costumed criminals pretending to be heroes, Dallas was thrown to the wolves and blamed by the city for trusting them. She was then approached by the V Battalion about taking up the identity of Citizen V IV and accepted. As Citizen V IV she fought Baron Zemo II and teamed up with Captain America in the Amazon rainforest. Although she initially padded her costume and disguised her voice to appear like a man, Captain America figured out she was a woman and convinced her to not hide her gender (Captain America/Citizen V Annual '98). She then tracked the Thunderbolts to Robinette, Nebraska where the Masters of Evil VI were testing a weather control device. Although she confronted Hawkeye about the Thunderbolts criminal past, she decided to see if they truely reformed before going after them. She discovered the weather control device, but was knocked out and captured by the Masters before she could stop it (Thunderbolts #24). The Masters were defeated by the Thunderbolts, but as their leader, the Crimson Cowl III, teleported Dallas in her place and Dallas was sent to prison. She refused to speak to anyone, especially Atlas (Thunderbolts #25). The V Battalion then broke Dallas out of prison, sent her on a mission to assassinate Henry Peter Gyrich. Dallas refused and she quit the V Battalion. The Battalion hunted her down, as she made her way to Burton Canyon to meet up with the Thunderbolts. Right as she made it to Burton Canyon the Battalion caught up with her. The Thunderbolts fought members of the Battalion, but right after Dallas let them know she was Citizen V IV, the Crimson Cowl III teleported in and abducted her, in an attempt to get the Battalion and Thunderbolts to fight each other (Thunderbolts #38). Dallas eventually escaped the Crimson Cowl III's prison and fought her, but during the fight fell into a river below the Cowl's base (Thunderbolts #42). Note: The original Citizen V was a minor costumed hero of World War II who was killed by Baron Zemo. His grandson became Citizen V II. Citizen V III was an identity created by Baron Zemo II to hide his identity in the Thunderbolts. Powers: Dallas has no powers to speak of, but is a highly skilled fighter. She wears a padded costume and carries a sword and several gadgets to aid her. ================================================================================ Character created by Marvel Comics.
