I added telepathy for absorbing memories. I also decided on a 45 STR because, while she doesn't routinely throw cars around, she can crush guns fairly casually. A pistol is listed as 4DEF & 4 Body, so 9d6 for STR will produce this effect. Also, she can Push to 55 in order to press the 50 tons mentioned by someone. Background: For those who have never read the X-men, Rogue is a mutant whose p rimary power is absorbing other people's powers and memories. Back in the 70's when she was a teenager her power manifested and flared during her first serious love affair, reducing her then boyfriend to a vegetable. She has never been able to touch another person without at least temporarily sucking out their personalities. Wracked with guilt she fled and was recruited by the Evil Mutants, whose leader became a mother figure to her. As a junior member of the Evil Mutants, she fought Carol Danvers, a mutant friend of the X-men. In the battle, they were locked together for too long and Rogue absorbed Carol's personality and powers perminently. (This is where Rogue got her Strength, Flight, and Invulnerability.) Confused by the struggle between Carol's more mature personality and her own, Rogue had a falling out with the Evil Mutants and sought the Dr. Xavier for help. Her first real friend in the X-men was Wolverine, partly because they shared a certain cynical, anti-social attitude, partly because Carol Danvers knew him. Through the 80's Rogue became a core member of the X-men, and has the training to lead the group in a pinch. Though, like Wolvie, she's still a bit of a loner. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Write-up copyright © 1995 by Alan R.
