Real name: William (Last name unrevealed.) Other known aliases: See the list. Occupation: Creature of the night, former poet. Current group affiliation: Semi-ally of the Scooby Gang. Past group affiliations: Former partner to Darla, Angel, Drusilla, the Judge and Adam. Major enemies: Angel Investigations and various demons. Formerly the Scooby Gang and Glory. First appearance: School Hard 2.03 Origin: Fool For Love 5.07 Description: Spike appears to be in his mid 20's with bleeched blond hair in a short cut. Explanation of the conversion: Spike is designed to have one 150 point Follower, the player can choose either Harmony or Buffybot. It should be noted that the Elemental Control contains several special powers and should be approved by the Game Master. History: William was a failing poet with a broken heart when he drew the attention of the vampire Drusilla, in 1880 London. He joined Drusilla, Angelus and Darla in their vampire family. He got the nickname Spike because of his habit of torturing victims with railroad spikes. Spike thrilled in the death and violance of being a vampire, and when he learned of the legend of the Slayer, he devoted much of his time to searching one out. He fineally met one in China in 1900 and was able to defeat her in combat, drinking her blood. After Angelus was cursed with a human soul and Darla went back to be with her sire, the Master, Spike and Drusilla spent decades together hunting humans and causing mayhem. In 1977 Spike confronted another slayer in New York city. They fought in a subway train and he was able to snap her neck. He took her leather coat as a prize, which he wears to this day (Fool For Love 5.07). Spike and Drusilla then made their way to Prague, where a mob nearly killed Drusilla. Spike and the weakened Drusilla arrived in Sunnydale in the fall of 1997. He soon established himself as the baddest vampire in town by killing Colin, The Anointed One (School Hard 2.03). Even though he had killed two Slayers in the past, his attempts at ridding himself of the Slayer Buffy Summers failed. After bringing Dru back to health using the duLac ritual, he was severely injured and confined to a wheelchair (What's My Line Part 2 2.10). During this time Angel lost his soul and turned evil again tried to win back former lover Drusilla, much to Spike's chagrin (Innocence 2.14). He eventually realized that all he really wanted was to have Dru for himself. He aided Buffy in defeating Angel's plans and took an unwilling Dru out of town, promising never to return (Becoming Part 2 2.22). Of course his word wasn't worth much after Dru left him. He returned to Sunnydale to get revenge on those he saw as making him look weak in Dru's eyes. Then he had a better idea, he tried to get Willow Rosenberg to perform a love spell to get her back. After a good head-clearing fight he decided to try and get her back himself by showing her he was demon enough for her (Lover's Walk 3.08). That didn't work and he came back once again a new vampire girlfriend, Harmony Kendall, looking for the Gem of Amara. The gem was reputed to make any vampire who wore it unkillable. He found it but it was taken by Buffy, who sent it to Angel for safe keeping (The Harsh Light Of Day 4.03). Spike went to Los Angeles to get the gem from Angel, but was unsuccessful (In The Dark 1.03). After returning to Sunnydale he was captured by the Initiative (Wild At Heart 4.06). He quickly escaped, although he discovered that he could not feed upon humans due to a chip implanted in his brain by the Initiative. If he attempted to hurt a human he suffers intense neurological pain (The Initiative). After Harmony dumped him and unable to feed, he made an offer to his worst enemy, Buffy. He teamed up with the Slayer in trying to learn more about the Initiative, who they were keenly interested in knowing about (Pangs). Spike and Buffy were then effected by a wayward spell of Willow's that caused the enemies to fall madly in love. Although they planned to get married, the spell was eventually lifted and the two came to their senses (Something Blue 4.09). Spike helped them destroy a gang of Vahrall demons who were trying to open the Hellmouth and then parted ways with them (Doomed 4.11). Spike aided Rupert Giles after he was turned into a Fyral demon (A New Man 4.12). Spike moved into a Sunnydale cemetery. After Harmony failed to start her own vampire gang, she joined up with Spike for a short while. Because of Spike's abuse and his feelings for Drusilla and Buffy, Harmony left Spike. When Spike learned that college student Warren had built a robot girlfriend, he saw an opportunity to finally have Buffy, and forced Warren to build him a Buffy robot. Spike was kidnapped by the minions of Glorificus thinking he may have been the key. This was eventually discovered by the real Buffy and her friends, and the robot was damaged fighting the minions of Glorificus (Intervention 5.18). Spike was asked by Buffy to aid her in protecting her sister Dawn, who was the key, from Glorificus, but in the final battle Spike was defeated by the demon known as Doc. Although Dawn was saved and Glorificus was defeated Buffy died saving the world from a dimensional rift (The Gift 5.22). Powers: Spike has the standard powers and vulnerabilities of a vampire. He is immortal and regenerates damage, is stronger and faster then most human beings. He is vulnerable to holy items and the sun, and feeds on blood to survive. Conversion by Mathew R.
