Occupation: Hero and student. Current group affiliation: New Warriors. Past group affiliations: None Major enemies: Cardinal, Sphinx, formerly Volx. First appearance: New Warriors #28, but the Torpedo armor she wears first appeared in Daredevil #126. Origin: New Warriors #73 Description: Mickey is an attractive woman standing 5'6'' tall and weighing 120 lbs. She has brown eyes and black hair. Explanation of the conversion: The two sets of stats represent Mickey normally and when she is wearing the Torpedo armor. Her Flight speed was based on the entry in TOHOTMU #14 which stated that the Torpedo armor could fly at 2500 mph. History: Michael Jeffries discovered the Torpedo armor and thought it just a costume and loaned it to his friend Long Island University sophomore Michiko Musashi for a costume party. The party was crashed by flying gunmen who had tracked the suit there because it's power had been reactivated. Afterwards, Mickey and freshman Mike Jeffries took turns using the suit and the identity of Turbo. Mickey first teamed up with the New Warriors to capture the Sea Urchin (New Warriors #28). Being better with the suit Michiko was inducted into the New Warriors while hero-happy Mr. Jeffries was made a reserve member. Ironically, journalism major Musashi once thought of super-heroics as ''a ridiculous calling'', but she didn't want others to suffer for her inactions. She trained in the use of her suit under Nova. A major complication, however, was that the armor was designed by and for the Dire Wraiths. Once the Wraith queen mother Volx saw the suit, she wanted it bad. Volx's scheme to wreak vengeance against humanity ended along with her life, but not before she donned the armor after killing Mike Jeffries. Mickey got the suit back and became a part time member of the New Warriors. She showed up a Four Freedom Plaza to help defeat Baron Zemo (Thunderbolts #10). She aided Nova and Night Thrasher in combating the worldwide disasters caused by the weather control machines of the Masters of Evil VI (Thunderbolts #25). After the New Warriors reformed, she changed the appearance of her suit and became a full time member. She started dating Nova. Trivia: Rather then using it to fight crime, when Mickey got the Torpedo armor, her first use for it was to go shopping in Paris. Powers: Mickey has no super powers herself. She is highly trained in the operation of the Torpedo armor, which she uses in the identity of Turbo. The suit has four collapsible nuclear-powered turbines. The turbines on her wrists can fire powerful air gusts or let her throw a hyper-punch, while the helmet's visor has telescopic sights, and can detect energy patterns and, thanks to modifications made by the Spaceknight Rom, shape-shifters. The armor disperses energy attacks, has strength and agility enhancing properties. It's appearance can be altered by the will of it's user. The suit is able to repair itself when damaged. The suit was designed Dire Wraiths not humans in mind, and is much more powerful in their hands. Character created by Marvel Comics. Champions rules conversion by Mathew R. Ignash - mignash@rust.net.
